Due to the expulsions, the existing problems and the integration \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tquestion are simply moved from one location to the next, but not resolved. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tParticularly affected are children attending school. The uncompromising \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tevictions are an expression of a failed social policy of the French state, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twhich does not build on integration and support, but on exclusion and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\texpulsion. In addition, through the media focus on informal settlements it is \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsuggested that there are only lower class Rroma who are poorly educated. However, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\taccording to assessments of the Rroma Foundation, 100,000 to 500,000 Rroma are \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tliving integrated and unobtrusively in French society. They belong to all social \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstrata and are completely negated by the French public. The Rroma who recently \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\timmigrated to France from Easter Europe and are living in the informal \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsettlements \u2013 about 15,000 to 20’0000 people \u2013 therefore constitute only a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tminority of all Rroma resident in France (compare C\u00f4t\u00e9 2014).<\/p>\n
