{"id":1239,"date":"2015-01-25T01:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-25T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/%20rroma.org\/25-01-2015-remembrance-for-the-liberation-of-auschwitz-70-years-ago\/"},"modified":"2022-07-26T14:37:36","modified_gmt":"2022-07-26T13:37:36","slug":"25-01-2015-remembrance-for-the-liberation-of-auschwitz-70-years-ago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rroma.org\/de\/25-01-2015-remembrance-for-the-liberation-of-auschwitz-70-years-ago\/","title":{"rendered":"25.01.2015 Remembrance for the liberation of Auschwitz 70 years ago"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The \u201cF\u00f6rderverein Roma\u201d  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\torganises a march on January 27th in Frankfurt to mark the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz Birkenau (Frankfurter Neue Presse).  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn that camp, with the special Rroma camp in Birkenau, countless Rroma from  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tseveral countries were killed. The official number is fairly low, as is the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcase with Jews, as people that were gassed straight away were not registered.  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHowever, many Rroma from Czechoslovakia, Austria, Germany and other countries  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twere murdered there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Bishop Conference of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGermany, for that same commemoration of the liberation liberation of the camp,  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tissued a lengthy statement acknowledging the murder of minorities and other in  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAuschwitz and appealing for tolerance and help towards others.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>F\u00f6rderverein Roma erinnert an Auschwitz-Befreiung.  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrankfurter Neue Presse, 16.01.2015. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fnp.de\/lokales\/frankfurt\/Foerderverein-Roma-erinnert-an-Auschwitz-Befreiung;art675,1218265\" style=\"font-family: Arial;\">http:\/\/www.fnp.de\/lokales\/frankfurt\/Foerderverein-Roma-erinnert-an-Auschwitz-Befreiung;art675,1218265<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Kardinal Reinhard Marx und Landesbischof Dr. Heinrich  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBedford-Strohn.
