For example, based on  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Sinti family Braun: The family take an important role. This includes regular  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tvisits to the grandparents, often twice a week because respect for elders is  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tvery important. The 21-years old Daniel keeps his identity secret from his  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tclassmates. Too great is the fear of misunderstanding and rejection: <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201c<\/em>&#8220;<em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">In school, I have not outed myself as Sinto. Because I&#8217;m afraid that it  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbrings disadvantages, that one talks bad about me<\/em>&#8220;<em style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> Gypsy, that curse word, \u00a0he has heard that too many times. &#8220;One forgot to gas you&#8221;,  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\this grandparents had to hear from their neighbours. &#8220;Then you dare no  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmore,&#8221; says Daniel, and says nothing&#8221;\u201d<\/em> The integrated Sinti see themselves  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tagain confronted with prejudice following the immigration of Rroma from  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSoutheast Europe. They have many children, are poor, begg, steal, and are a  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tburden to the German social welfare system as is often read in the media.  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNevertheless they solidarise with the immigrants.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Levy, Sarah (2013) Mit Hornhaut auf der Seele.
