Together, the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tphotographer and the journalist visited integrated Rromnia living in Germany, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEngland, France, the Netherlands, and Hungary. In the book, these invisible \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRromnia give information on their lives, their decisions and their favourite \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trecipes. Through that, they create positive counter-images to the persistent \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnegative stereotypes about Rroma: <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201cstreet \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprostitution, poverty, problematic houses, welfare fraud, truants: with these keywords, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmedia report on Sinti and Roma in Germany. In contrast, success stories are all \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbut missing: about well-integrated, educated, successful and creative Romnia one \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trarely reads or hears [&#8230;] These are women who have succeeded in securing a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnice place in life \u2013 sometimes against considerable opposition, says the author \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof the book-texts, Helene Pawlitzki [&#8230;]. They are self-confident, successful, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstrong, and they know what they want. What life has thrown at their feet, they \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thave taken up and made the best of it.
