Also, a conservative public accuses the Rroma to  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tburden social welfare: <em>\u201cIn Sofades, a  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttown of 6,000 that\u2019s evenly divided between Roma and \u201cbalamos\u201d \u2014 what Roma call  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twhite Greeks \u2014 many Roma live in unheated, barely fitting houses made of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tasbestos, stone and zinc. Although they patronize local Greek-owned shops, they  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\taren\u2019t welcome in cafes and bars. [\u2026] Greece\u2019s financial crisis has made  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmatters worse.
