The children are \u2013 amongst others \u2013 helped with homework, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twhereby the still widespread segregation of Rroma children in the Czech \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRepublic should be challenged. Many Rroma children are enrolled into so-called \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201cpractical classes\u201d, which do not foster their skills and greatly reduce their \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tchances on the labour market<em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">: \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201ceducational discrimination\u201d is the keyword. This phenomenon ensures anywhere \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin Central and Eastern Europe that ethnic or social minorities remain where \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthey are: on the edge of society. The Czech Republic is no exception. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEspecially members of the Roma minority are likely to be sent into the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tso-called \u201cpractical schools\u201d[ &#8230; ].\u201d<\/em> Pastor Pavel Prochazka complains \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthat the support of the Rroma is boycotted or disapproved by numerous \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trepresentatives of the majority society and thereby maintains segregation. The \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\temphatic article disapproves the educational discrimination against Rroma in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpublic schools in the Czech Republic.
