The 12-year-old boy is said to have repeatedly committed pick-pocketing.  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe newspaper <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Heute <\/em>explains the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmotive for the thefts as being culturally determined and thus fuels false,  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tabsurd notions of a ethnically conditioned delinquency: \u00a0<em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201cThe  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tboy is a Bosnian citizen and comes from a Roma family. He is illiterate and has  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tnever been to school. [ &#8230; ] He may belong to a European-wide clan and may  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thave been specifically trained to steal, as he already appeared in other states.\u201d<\/em> \u00a0The reference to the ethnicity of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe boys is totally unnecessary and inconsiderate. It only encourages racist  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprejudices against members of the minority. Rroma are not more criminal than  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe representatives of other ethnic groups. Unfortunately, these prejudices are  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tkept persist-ently (Today 2014 Today 2014\/II ) .<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heute (2014) 12-j\u00e4hriger Taschendieb wurde  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfreigelassen.
