Despite \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprotests and support from organizations such as Amnesty International, the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlocal Rroma had to leave their camp. Bulldozers from the commune then cleared \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe camp that was under a bridge next to the river. Critics complain that this \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tripped schooled children away from their classes, and that it went against a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsuccessful integration despite the precarious sanitary conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">To date, no alternative \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\taccommodation was found for those affected. Eric Ciotti, UMP deputy, on the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tother hand showed his inflexible stance towards Rroma: \u201cLeur place est en \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRoumanie et en Hongrie, pas dans les Alpes-Maritimes. [&#8230;] Europe a donn\u00e9 20 \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmilliards d\u2019euros \u00e0 ces pays pour qu\u2019ils int\u00e8grent correctement les Roms. Il \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfaut que ce gouvernement socialiste fasse preuve de fermet\u00e9 ou exige que ces \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpays sortent de l\u2019Europe.
