The defendants, two brothers and other men from \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe far-right scene since 2008 killed six Rroma and seriously injured\u00a0 around 60 people, almost exclusively \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRroma in a series of racially motivated attacks. Verseck attests to the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHungarian authorities blatant negligence in the investigation of the crimes. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe responsible police for Tat\u00e1rszentgy\u00f6rgy upon arrival on the scene urinated \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ton the evidence of the murders to cover it up. On political side, no empathy with \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe victims\u2019 families was ever expressed; so large is the dependence of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpoliticians on voters from the right to the extreme right. Trial observer \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJ\u00f3zsef Guly\u00e1s also reproaches the Hungarian judiciary poor diligence in handling \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe evidence of the case: \u201cIt seems as if the Hungarian government and the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHungarian authorities want to bring this embarrassing affair behind them with \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe smallest possible hype,\u201d Guly\u00e1s said in an opinion. Meanwhile, the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trelatives of the murdered live in constant fear.
