In Roma circles \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin France, there is apparently a leaflet circulating, which recommends \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSwitzerland as a destination, because the penalties are significantly milder there \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthan anywhere else.\u201d<\/em> This statement is highly racist, because it implies a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdirect correlation between ethnicity and criminal offenses. It would not hurt Rolf \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGr\u00e4del to choose his words a little more carefully. The clich\u00e9 of hierarchically \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\torganized Rroma networks, which educate children to become criminals, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstubbornly persists. Especially the <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Weltwoche<\/em> cites it regularly. However, these ideas are based on suspicions and crude \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgeneralizations, which is almost never discussed.
