The Finn Olli \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tToivonen has employed several Eastern European Rroma immigrants in his property \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmanagement company, where they provide excellent services. The Romanian Rrom Ioan \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCiurariu is named as a prime example. However, the integration of immigrant \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRroma remains difficult, because the will to work is not sufficient in the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcompetitive labour market: <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201cHaving a job \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmakes Ciurariu an exception among the Romanian and Bulgarian Roma in Finland. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMany of his Roma friends are envious of his good luck, asking Ciurariu to help \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthem find work. Ciurariu wishes he could do more to help them but there are not \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmany jobs available to the Roma. \u201cWe\u2019re strong and want to work,\u201d Ciurariu says \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tabout the Roma of his acquaintance. Mere desire to work is not enough to open \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe doors for an applicant without qualifications or language skills.\u201d <\/em>According \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto estimates of the Rroma Foundation, there are 7,000 to 15,000 Rroma living in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFinland. They are widely integrated into the labour market and bring higher \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tqualifications. The prejudice of uneducated poverty immigrants, who migrate in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmasses to Western Europe, should be critically reviewed. Rroma are not more \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmobile than other population groups. Too often, economic circumstances are \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tequated with the culture of the Rroma. However, there are also many Rroma who \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbelong to the middle class.
