Before the full-scale invasion, Janusz was writing a dissertation, documenting the memories of elderly Holocaust survivors, and teaching at a school for Roma children.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even though he was pro-Ukrainian, he remained in the occupied territories.
