										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Museum of Roma Culture in Slovakia has been actively involved in research, documentation and presentation of the rich cultural heritage of the Roma since 2004. &#8220;The exhibition will introduce visitors to the history of the museum and its predecessor &#8211; the Documentation Centre of Roma Culture, its development and professional activities, as well as the importance of preserving the cultural identity of the Roma through museum activities,&#8221; said Kiripolská.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Exhibition is titled “Hin amen museum!” –[We have a museum].</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;">President Petr Pavel visited the Museum of Roma Culture after he had already visited the place of commemoration in Lety u Písek twice. The first time was last year on the occasion of the traditional May memorial gathering to honor the memory of the victims of the local camp. The second time was in April of this year during the ceremonial opening of the Roma and Sinti Holocaust Memorial in Bohemia.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">A new exhibition &#8220;Hin amen museum! / We have a museum!” maps the activities of this specialized museum, which has been actively involved in research, documentation and presentation of the rich cultural heritage of the Roma since 2004.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Museum and Memorial Site in Sobibór has been nominated for the prestigious title of European Museum of the Year 2024. The competition is organized by the European Museum Forum &#8211; an independent, non-governmental organization operating under the auspices of the Council of Europe, whose mission is to promote innovation in museology. The winners will be announced in early May 2024. The European Museum of the Year Award is considered the most important distinction for European museums.</p>
