The lynching of a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tseventeen-year-old Rrom in the suburbs of Paris remains unresolved. Although Darius \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t(the young Rrom) insists that he did not commit a burglary on the day in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tquestion, the evidence suggests he did not always act within the bounds of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlegality either. It is stated that both sides have no interest for the case to be \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tresolved: \u201cUndoubtedly, Darius is the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tvictim of an attempted murder, but he has also been accused of things. The \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tperpetrators of this private revenge will admit to nothing. The Roma are also not \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttotally innocent. Whether these allegations are based upon physical \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tevidence is not clear. Furthermore, it is problematic to put theft on the same \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlevel as attempted homicide. Anyhow, the incident around Darius has shown that \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe social policy in the suburbs of Paris is still strongly deficient, so that \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcrimes are not solved with the involvement of the police but with vigilante \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tjustice.<\/p>\n
