Unknown people attacked \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe headquarters of the association of Rroma and Sinti in Schleswig-Holstein \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand largely destroyed the infrastructure of the local: \u201cThe office of the association of Roma and Sinti in Kiel was attacked by \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthree unidentified men on Tuesday at noon. After the trio entered the office in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Elmschenhagen district, they suddenly struck the local computers and copiers \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twith sticks. As the current state chairman of the organisation, Matth\u00e4us Wei\u00df, loudly \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tobstructed the dark-clad invaders, they escaped unrecognised. In \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSchleswig-Holstein, the group of the Roma minority has a recognized \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tconstitutional status\u201d<\/em> (Neues Deutschland 2014). A police spokesman stated \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthat the motives of the perpetrators were not known. There was no evidence of a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\txenophobic background, but this could not be excluded either. Considering the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgrowing hostilities against Rroma, which were inflamed in the wake of the debates \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tabout Rroma immigrants from different quarters, a racist motivation of the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tperpetrators is very likely. The fact that the perpetrators stole nothing and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdestroyed the interior of the office, contributes to this interpretation (compare \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHamburger Abendblatt 2014, NDR 2014, Die Welt 2014). <\/p>\n
