Following a court order, about twenty people were \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tevacuated from the two buildings. The eviction was not primarily political, but \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlegally motivated, as the assistant of the mayor states: <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201cApparently, the action executed yesterday followed a legal agenda and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twas not strictly political. The assistant to the mayor, responsible for the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsecurity, Xavier Alibertini, announced: \u201cThis eviction will not be followed by \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmore.\u201d In Reims, there are half a dozen occupied homes, of which most are \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlocated in the city centre. These are identified by social workers who are in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdaily contact with the most precarious of the precarious\u201d<\/em> (Livoreil 2014). \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA community organization, commissioned by the government of Reims in 2013, takes \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcare of the integration of inhabitants of the occupied houses. Several people \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twere already provided with jobs and for four family flats could be organised. It \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tshould be stressed here once again that the French press reports in a highly \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tone-sided way about Rroma in France.
