The authors of the report saw discrimination in everyday \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlife, in public facilities as well as in access to the labour market. Here, the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\teffective observable racism is only a part of what actually takes place. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDiscrimination in the private sector will often not be reported and therefore \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tremain undetected. The internet on the other hand, is so rich on information, that \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe effective dimensions of antiziganism cannot truly bee assessed. Regarding \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe media coverage, as in Ettinger (2013), they see a one-sided focus on \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdelinquency and the ethnicisation of poverty different phenomena: <em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201cThe reports are usually unilaterally \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfocused on begging or on the topics of poverty induced migration, human \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttrafficking and specific criminality. The social problems that are seen by many \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tas &#8220;grievances&#8221;, are attributed to an ethnic group which fuels the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgrowth of the rejection of this group.\u201d <\/em>A further concern is that the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tracist acts against Rroma are by far not only committer by members of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tright-wing groups. Antiziganism is socially acceptable in broad sections of the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpopulation and anchored on the transmission of false prejudices. The authors \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttherefore deem it as a truly important and viable challenge to break this \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinstitutionalized racism.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Romano Centro (2013) Antiziganismus in \u00d6sterreich.
