Upon these EU plans, Russia\u2019s \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMinister of Nationalities Vladimir Sorin announced that the Rroma\u2019s lack of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\teconomic integration is mainly due to their travelling lifestyle. He reproduces \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmisconceptions &#8211; most Rroma being sedentary \u2013 but above all, he trivializes the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfact that the travelling way of life was the result of social exclusion. From \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tan economic perspective, the 12 million European Rroma represent a largely \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tuntapped \u201cworker reserve\u201d that need be tapped.
