Like many before her, she limits herself to \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\treporting on visible Rroma, which can be relatively easily found in ghettos. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThat she from the outset sets Rroma as lepers and victims, does not seem to \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbother her. She begins the article by stating: <em style=\"font-family: Arial; \">\u201cTo learn how Roma live and what they do for a living in Kiev, we went \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto their camp.\u201d <\/em>Many<em style=\"font-family: Arial; \"> <\/em>of the Rroma \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthat Tschabanowa meets in Ukraine come from the district of Transcarpathia \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t(former Hungarian\/Slovakian region). Looking for work, many of them come to the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcapital during the summer. The image that Tschabanowa paints of them is one of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlarge families, widespread illiteracy and exclusion. That she reinforces \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprejudices about Rroma in spite of the emphatic perspective about them, she \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdoes not seem to be aware of.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tschabanowa, Walentina (2013) Wie Roma in Kiew und Transkarpatien leben.
