Jousse had made a racist remark towards Rroma during an \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinterview. He had stated: \u201c<em>Je vous rappelle quand m\u00eame \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tque les gens du voyage, que dis-je, les Roms, m&#8217;ont mis neuf fois le feu. [\u2026] \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tils piquent des c\u00e2bles \u00e9lectriques et apr\u00e8s ils le br\u00fblent pour r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer le \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcuivre et ils se sont mis \u00e0 eux-m\u00eames le feu dans leurs propres caravanes! Un \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgag! Ce qui est presque dommage, c&#8217;est qu&#8217;on ait appel\u00e9 trop t\u00f4t les secours!<\/em>\u201d (L&#8217;Express, 2013). <em>[I remind you nevertheless that these travellers, what do I say, these \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRroma, laid nine times fires. [\u2026] they steel electrical \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcables, and after that, they burnt them to recover the copper, and they torched \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttheir own caravans! A joke! What is almost a pity, isthat one called the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\temergency services too early]<\/em> With this \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttasteless remark Jousse makes himself clearly guilty of racism.
