The \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\timage of the impoverished, often unemployed Rroma corresponds to the idea of a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbroad French public that Rroma are a burden to the French social security \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsystem. The official figures counts about 600,000 Rroma in Romania. It is \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlikely, however, that there are rather about 2 million members of that \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tminority. The problem in this report lies in a mix of poverty issues with an \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\talleged culture of delinquency and mutual exploitation. That these ideas are \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twrong will sometime soon hopefully be clear to a wider public.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>France Inter (2013) Les Roms en Roumanie.
