The facilities are to be located in the woods \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof Boulogne and Vincennes, and are politically controversial. These places, to be \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tvoted on Paris\u2019 Council next week, are projected to costs 10 million euro. The \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tidea to have sites for travellers on the outskirts of Paris goes back many \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tyears. In 2000 plans were drafted but sites were never built. In 2004 there was \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ta plan to create to 200 smaller sites, a number that was reduced in 2009 to 90 sites. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAnother project was not implemented due to lack of flood protection and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinadequate conservation measures. Even the current two projects are under an \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tunlucky star: The Polo facility near one of the two sites is opposed to the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tproject. Furthermore, the sites must be approved and committed to by many \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tministries, which can take a long time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">That \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tall Rroma are travellers is a Clich\u00e9.
