Zsig\u00f3 was the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfounder and long-time director of the institution Romano Kher in Budapest, and  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tchairman of the Hungarian Roma parliament. [&#8230;]Since the 1980s, he was \u201can  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tindependent and dedicated spokesperson for political and cultural affairs of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Roma in Hungary\u201d The foundation stated.\u201d <\/em>Zsig\u00f3 was co-founder of the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHungarian Rroma parliament that championed both politically and culturally the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinterests of the Rroma and initiated the first scholarship program for  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHungarian Rroma, who are still heavily discriminated against in the education  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsystem (compare Focus\/DPA 2014, Hamburger Abendblatt\/DPA 2014, Tiroler  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTageszeitung\/DPA 2014).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focus\/DPA (2014) G\u00fcnter Grass ehrt ungarischen Roma  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJen\u0151 Zsig\u00f3.
