The UMP is said to  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcover up sensitive issues such as Rroma and to even support the controversial  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmayor Luc Jousse in his re-election. Jousse had announced in December 2013 during  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ta press conference that it was a pity to call the fire department too early in  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcase of fire in a Rroma camp. For this tasteless, racist statement he was  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tharshly criticized. He was threatened with exclusion from the UMP. Even Gilles  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBourdouleix, who had stated during a confrontation with Rroma in July 2013, that  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmaybe Hitler did not kill enough Rroma, doesn\u2019t have to worry about any  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tconsequences for his re-election, apart from a fine of 3000 Euros.
