When the criteria for legal residency  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tare not met, the recipients are threatened with forced expulsion. After three  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmonths residency, EU citizens must certify that as they are employees,  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tself-employed or working in a vocational training program. If they do not meet  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthese criteria, they can be expelled.
