He uses the metaphor of a sinking ship in  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\torder to make fun of the impact of the European Union and the immigrants on  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrance. Vanneste advocates a completely sealed off France that determines his  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpolicies alone and restricts immigration. He is especially angry with the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tregulation that Rroma have a right of co-determination as members of the  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEuropean Union. Vanneste outs himself with his statements as an arch-conservative  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpolitician who favours a France only for the French. He is not too far away  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfrom the demands of the Front National. The right-wing party also calls for a completely  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tclosed off France: <em>\u201cDes \u201cRoms\u201d se sont  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinscrits \u00e0 Villeurbanne, alors qu\u2019on a des raisons d\u2019\u00eatre inquiet de cette  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\timmigration, de ses motivations et de ses conditions. Cerise sur le g\u00e2teau:  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tces\u00a0 campeurs b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdomiciliation gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur inscription \u00e0 l\u2019AME synonyme de totale gratuit\u00e9 des  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsoins sans cotisation.\u201d [Rroma  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tregistered in Villeurbanne, all the while we have reasons to fear this  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\timmigration, its motivation and conditions. Cherry on the cake: these campers  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tare entitled to free health care without any contribution due to their  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tattestation of domicile with the AME.] <\/em>In contrast to Vanneste\u2019s  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tremarks. the importance of a united Europe with open borders has to be emphasised.  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRestrictive policies and sealed borders do not solve problems but create new  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tones.
