Haliti has a degree in radiology, but \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcannot finds a job anywhere. Again and again he is invited for interviews and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthen rejected without clear justifications or simply no longer contacted: \u201e<em style=\"font-family: Arial;\">En d\u2019autres termes, \u0106azim Haliti, un des rares Rroms &#8211; un des dix \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpremiers de sa g\u00e9n\u00e9ration &#8211; \u00e0 avoir fait des \u00e9tudes universitaires, a \u00e9t\u00e9 \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbloqu\u00e9 d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape. Beaucoup y voient un message adress\u00e9 \u00e0 la toute \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcommunaut\u00e9 rrom. \u201eJe n\u2019ai pas \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi, ok, mais ce qui me pose probl\u00e8me \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tc\u2019est qu\u2019ils ne m\u2019ont pas averti, pour que je puisse continuer mes recherches \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t[&#8230;]\u201c\u201c[In other words, \u0106azim \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHaliti, one of the rare Rroma, one of the ten first ones of his generation to \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcompleted university studies was blocked at the first step. Many see in it a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmessage addressed to the entire Rroma community. \u201cI was not selected, ok, but \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twhat disturbs me is that they didn\u2019t tell me, so that I could continue my \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsearch.] \u00a0<\/em>Haliti\u2019s case is an example of the continuing \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\texclusion of Rroma by the majority society.
