The camp near the Boulevard \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tde Plombi\u00e8re \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thoused about 150 people. Immediately after the evacuation of the remaining \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpeople, excavators started the destruction of the huts\u200b\u200b. Representatives of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe Abb\u00e9 Pierre Foundation offered the displaced people a one-week accommodation \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin hotels. The authorities stated to have applied the inter-ministerial \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcircular from August 2012, which requires a social diagnosis before carrying \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tout evictions. Nine families are part of a long-term integration attempt with \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpermanent living quarters and ten families with pregnant women, small children, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tor old or infirm persons took the offer of temporary shelter. Nevertheless, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmany people are now homeless (compare Guillaume 2014, Fiorito 2014, Boursoram\/AFP). It should be emphasised that the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tforced evictions of informal settlements significantly complicate the long-term \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tintegration of Rroma immigrants. With the evacuations, the problems and the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpending integration are simply moved from one location to the next, but not \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsolved. Also, with the media focus on the informal settlements it is suggested \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthat there are only Rroma who are belonging to the lower class and who are \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpoorly educated. However, according to estimates of the Rroma Foundation, there \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tare 100,000 to 500,000 Rroma who are well integrated and live unobtrusively in \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFrench society (Rroma Foundation 2014).
