The overall population decreased by 3.4%, and, more astonishingly, the number of Roma passed from 300\u2019000 to 200\u2019000. All other \u201cethnic\u201d minorities, Germans, Slovaks, etc. also decreased but not by as much as in the case of Roma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 300\u2019000 number was anyhow a fallacy, as the government itself acknowledges more than half a million.
