In the east of Slovakia, he visited Star\u00e1 Tehel\u0148a in Pre\u0161ov, Jarovnice, Petrovany, Lun\u00edk IX in Ko\u0161ice and Kecerovce, where he met with representatives of Roma communities, local authorities and groups working with Roma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Prejudice against Roma is deeply rooted in society. Discrimination affects all areas of Roma life in Slovakia: from placing Roma women in separate maternity wards to segregated Roma children in education.
