This week is no different than others in France\u2026 Expulsions, shantytowns etc\u2026 The first articles are a view of a mother in a shantytown wanting a better life for her children. Then, in Paris, the shantytown on the tracks of the former \u201cpetite ceinture\u201d railway will be closed; in Limeil, residents are trying to get a camp closed; in Melun, the Roma can stay on the site of the disaffected hospital; in Western France, in Rez\u00e9, Roma were moved to better abodes; in the North, a fire started in a building squatted by Roma; in Maubeuges, in the North too, a camp was closed; in Annecy, Roma recosntruc a camp from where they were recently evicted; and finally, in the centre of France, five Roma families are waiting for a housing in front of the prefecture.<\/p>\n
