In some places, France seems to be starting to solve the issue of 20\u2019000 people: In Montpellier, in the south, the largest shantytown will be closed in the spring and its inhabitants will be re-lodged in bungalows. In Ivry, near Paris, Roma are welcome (yes) and in Lille in the North, a mayor and the state are summoned in court for the illegal expulsion of a small camp of Roma. Finally, in Paris, the petite ceinture camp is awaiting its 4th closure.
