According to the newspaper, “Everyone in Vidin knows him – a 13-year-old child, already “known” to the police, with a diagnosis of “mental retardation” and dozens of incidents behind him. He went through a Crisis Center, bullied his peers, threatened teachers, was a bully on TikTok. And yet he was left to move freely. While beating another child unconscious on the street.”

Summary: Roma are retarded violent people, and they are left free by justice. This is really bad.

]]> According to the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), the rights of two complainants, a Roma father and son, were violated after they became victims of violent intervention by the police during the first lockdown in April 2020 in Bardejov. The court found that the use of force by the police, leading to injuries such as a skull fracture in one applicant and a concussion in the other, was manifestly disproportionate and the investigation into the police violence was inadequate. TASR was informed about this by the spokesman for the European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC), Jonathan Lee. The ERRC represented the applicants.

]]> The Romeo server has just published research on domestic violence against Roma women. The research was presented by the Slovo 21 organization at the Speak Out conference as part of the Khamoro festival. 500 women from 19 cities in the Czech Republic responded. What are the results?

More than two-thirds of the respondents know someone who has experienced domestic violence and almost 29 percent of the women have experienced domestic violence personally. According to more than half of them, violence in their environment occurs either repeatedly or constantly.

But from this small non-representative sample to say that a third of all Romnja suffer from domestic violence is goig to far.

]]> The Slovenian police union demanded that a member of the Parliament of the Svoboda Movement, Sara Žibrat, publicly apologize to all police officers for the doubts and unverified statements she made at one of the sessions in the Parliament. During the debate, Žibratova drew attention to information that the police officers in Kočevje allegedly beat up a minor Roma. The union strongly rejected her insinuations and emphasized that the supervision of the work of the police officers did not show any irregularities, nor was there any evidence that Roma were beaten.

The article states that the government has done nothing, and worse, is de-facto condoning. The article speaks about the Roma violence against the majority population. This is bad.

The article says “We are witnessing the escalation of Roma attacks on the majority population of Southeastern Slovenia, with the ruling coalition rejecting measures that would stop this part of the country from sliding into lawlessness for ideological reasons.”
