The true Carpathian Rroma music is probably closest to what people often think is Rroma music: Violin, bass, cymbalom. In Huungary, it is often called restaurant music, combining classical “schlagers” with more Rroma themes. In the Czech and Slovak republics, it is still sung in Rromanes.
