An interview of the authors of a new theatre piece that was shown in Berlin in the Gorki Theatre. The piece is called Roma Army Fraction (a play on the extreme leftist terrorist group Rote Armee Fraktion), and its authors want Roma to get out of the victim role.

Even too toxic for the French extreme right party: Frank Sinisi, a FN representative in a town near Grenoble who suggested to take the gold teeth from Roma to cover the costs has been expulsed by the Front National.

Quite a few news in France this week. First, a huge fire in Marseilles nearly totally burnt a Roma camp. Near Paris, Roma are returning to a camp that burnt down last week. In Paris itself, the camp on the tracks of the former petite ceinture railway can stay for another month; near Paris too, a camp that was vacated last week left a mountain of trash. Further south, in Lyon, 145 Roma were expulsed. This is deemed the “largest” camp in Lyon …
In Nice, the concern is on the schooling of the young Roma from the camp – at least a constructive approach!

The government has earmarked 51 millions of euros to help to combat discrimination against Roma. Two new Action Plans, focusing on the area of non-discrimination and access to the majority society, are part of the Strategy of the Slovak Republic for Roma Inclusion by 2020. The material, was presented by the interior Robert Kaliňák in co-operation with Ábel Ravasz and was approved on Wednesday by members of the government.
