The German State of Hessen increased its contribution to the state association of Sinti and Roma to 300’000 EUR per year.

Slovakia has a tradition of putting Roma in special school for children with mental problems. An NGO wanted to check the situation. It still exists, but is probably more differentiated. In the Rokycani district, 20% of Roma children are still enrolled in such schools. High by any standards, but lower than it was.
