The Guardian’s report on a conflict in Northern England between Roma and Pakistani (we reported on this article) has had quite an echo in Slovakia, essentially due to the fact that the Roma in question are originally from Slovakia.

Ukraine – House Arrests

Four people are under house arrest in Lviv for the murder against a Rom last June. This definitively seems mild in comparison of the crime. Several of the perpetrators are minors and go to school. They also only face mild penalties (3 to 7 years of jail).
