In Live’s Solomensky district Roma set up a camp right in the middle of the courtyard of a multi-storey apartment building.
Not a good advertisement.

The Ukrainian Ombudsman demands an investigation of the eviction of Roma from the Kiev railway station by the ultra nationalist C14 organisation while the municipal guards claim it did not happen …

Bad news in the Ukrainian press. Five Roma have beaten two youngsters in Uzhgorod in Western Ukraine. Apparently for no reason. The fight was caught on video.
In view of the high tensions in the Ukraine, this is really bad.

An explosive device was thrown into the flat of Sergei Mazur, the coordinator of the extreme nationalist party C14 who triggered pogroms against Roma and who is under house arrest.

Bad press on Roma – according to articles in several newspapers, following a row among Roma squatters in a derelict house in Kiev, one person was killed.
