Something We Don’t Need …

Three members of a Sinti family were arrested near Rome for robbery and kidnapping. The family answered to private advertisements for car sales, and, upon meeting with the person selling the car, sequestered them and threatened them until they transferred the car ownership to them, clearly without payment.

Czech Republic: Okamura

The Czech MP and leader of an extreme right party Tomio Okamura cast doubts about the events that occurred in the Roma Camp of Lety: On the Holocaust Remembrance Day, he stated in an interview on television the camp was not fenced in and people could walk in our out.
Well, Mr. Okamura should get his fact rights, and he should be prosecuted for Holocaust Denial.
Note that on the picture here, he is in good company ….

Not many news in France this week. In Nantes, supporters of squatters clashed with the police and were removed from their protest site. In Nantes, also, a Rom was sentenced to a 4 months suspended jail sentence for his illegal taping of power that resulted in a huge fire burning over 100 camping cars and rental cars. Of course, Breizh info finds the sentence to “lenient”. Another fire in the North, in a garage forced the evacuation of a Roma camp. Near Paris, in both Sarcelles and Choisy le Roi, a large amount of garbage was retrieved from Roma camping sites. Finally, two criminal affairs, one on the abduction of a pet (and a ransom of 250 EUR paid) and one about a jewellery thief in Carcassonne.

The Prosecutor has stopped the enquiries into the posters, as they cannot determine who hung it … REALLY? They know who printed it without doubts.

In Nice, Roma who are threatened with expulsion are appealing to Macron. Not that it helps, judging by Martine Aubry, a former minister (and socialist) who approves an expulsion in the North of France. In the South, another notice was served to Roma in Vallauris; in Western France, residents near Roma camps are complaining; near Paris, a vaccination campaign against measles was started in Ris Orangis following several cases’ and finally, the usual inflammatory article in Breizh Info, an extreme rightist info site in France.
