The city of Montpellier is planning to erect a statue commemorating Manitas de Plata, the flamenco musician native from that city. He died two years ago.

A review of Israel Galvan’s latest spectacle in Vienna, Austria. His latest show, called Fla.Co.Men sees him with an apron, a rather unusual sight in Flamenco.
But well, however dressed, he is and remains one of the best Flamenco dancers!
Flamenco is being used for staging flashmobs in Spain and is seen as a way to reconnect to the Rroma roots of the participants. Bravo!
