A case where the mayor of Limanowa, a Polish town purchased a house in another town for the Roma living in the centre of his city has had another round in court. The purchase and relocation was declared invalid, and the mayor of Limanowa did a recourse. This one was thrown out of court.

Roma organisations have called for a permanent manifestation for the respect of the inclusions agreements signed by Italy, and have also written a letter to the Lombard authorities asking them to respect the agreements.

According to statistics, 80’000 Roma live in the westernmost region of the Ukraine that used to be part of the K&K empire. As with all official statistics on Roma, this means that at least 80’000 Roma live there.

A Roma settlement in the Ukraine is making the headlines. Situated close to the Romanian border, the village of Podvinogradov has a collection of rich Roma mansions os a taste similar to the one across the border.

Four Romani girls and their mothers died in a fire of their house in Richnava in Eastern Slovakia. The police is investigating the cause of the fire as well as investigating racist comments on their own Facebook page following the fire.
