First Rrom in UK Police

Petr Torak, a Rrom of Slovak or Czech origin is allegedly the first serving Rrom police officer in the UK. Not bad, when one remembers that the police there is quite racist (see all articles on the MET and their facebook postings).

In spite of protests by the mayor and by the town’s residents, the French state ordered the continuation of the works for the so-called insertion village for Rroma. The opposition of the residents is totally overblown and shows what people actually think about Rroma in France.

A German professor for economy, Bernd Raffelhüschen, says that taking in refugees is the “biggest mistake of the last decades” as there is no way on can integrate those people in the workforce. The only thing he shows is how prejudiced he is read yourself … Rroma cannot be integrated in the workforce, Rroma should be sent back …

According to a recent report, half of Czech Rroma are not integrated in that country. How they arrived at those numbers (it is always difficult to know how many Rroma there are), fact is, the Czech Republic is a very difficult place for Rroma.
