A Sinti camp on the outskirts of Asti will be demolished shortly. The question that arises is what to do with the inhabitants, where to re-lodge them, etc. The usual question and comments are there: Were the houses “legal” in the first place, where to move “them” and so on with the usual issues.

Blanket Debate in the UK

The UK Parliament decided recently to debate on “Gypsies and Travellers” in a fully generic and general fashion. Labour MP Laura Pidcock rightfully slammed the parliament for this approach.
