The Pope in Auschwitz: Let’s get the Facts Straight

The Pope visited Auschwitz, met survivors, all in silence, may the souls that departed appreciate.

But the article states some incorrect facts. The mention 1.5 mio dead. This is correct. But then say 23’000 Rroma. Also correct if you “only” count those who were registered. To give a comparison, there are 300’000 registered Jews in Auschwitz. Far from the 1.5 Mio. Simply said, registered people where the ones who were not immediately gassed. Those who died on arrival are not recorded in the camp, just in the transport. So fact is: many more Rroma died in Auschwitz than the 23’000. May their souls rest in peace.

Stepinac is and remains a supporter of mass murderers.

Rroma Holocaust

Rroma Holocaust

A reminder that there was a Rroma holocaust. Unfortunately, the term used here is a total no-go: Porrajmos. It is first not understood by all non Vlach, and second, among Vlach, it refers more to a rape than anything else. Bad choice of words for a very real Holocaust. Let’s stick to Holocaust.
