The Rroma circus. “Cirque Romanes” in Paris, seems not exactly popular in the Paris suburbs where it has been located for ages. They are the victims of thefts and depredations on a nearly daily basis.
What is going on?
Once again in the Grenoble region, people are trying to expel Rroma squatters by themselves.

Rroma Pride took place yesterday in 14 European cities. In Prague, they pointed aout the scandal of Lety where a pig farm is located on the site of a former concentration camp.
And the usual French review – more of the same. In Wissous, tensions are rising; in Metz, 23 Rroma are without lodgings; a fire in a camp in Ris Orangis, not surprising since temperatures are dropping and heating is needed; a Turkish tourist was mugged by three young Rroma in the RER in Paris; the site of a dismantled camp near Toulouse is being cleaned out; and more Rroma kids in schools in Dijon.
The endless cycle continues … An unlikely hero in Paris, the voice of the Ghetto Joszef Farkas from La Courneuve; neighbours concerned about Rroma moving in in the Rhone valley; Rroma from la Courneuve re-building their church; imminent expulsion in Saint Denis near Paris; the usual story about exploitation and criminal mendacity in Montpellier – as usual not really as stated; and finally an article on refugees at the Porte de Clichy in Paris.
According to a report from Romeurope, a collective engaged in defending Rroma, France is systematically discriminating and segregating Rroma. They denounce the practices of the expulsions and the overall policy of the French government.
Well Done!!!
Seems that the French policies of systematic expulsions are not only inefficient, they are also expensive…
A militant activist beat up a homeless man to steal his puppy, claiming it was drugged. Well, maybe, but how did he know beforehand? And the proof is still outstanding. Cherry on the cake, the militant claims that Rroma drug their animals, and even some of them eat cats.
This is not limited to Rroma, and it seems that while cat eaters are found among all populations, idiots, bigots, and racists are too.

France continues its seemingly never ending circle. How about changing it an investing energies into something more constructive? In Montreuil, 117 families were expulsed; in Wissous, in the North of France, benevoles are helping children to get to school, all the while shadowed by the worries about a fire in the camps there; in Savoy, a Rroma camo was destroyed by a fire; in Lille, Rroma have a three months reprieve; in Tourcoing, in the North of France, Rroma were served an eviction letter; while the association Eurrom tries to integrate Rroma;
Less news in France, probably due to the refugees… In Tourcoing, in the North, Rroma are expulsed; as in Asnières near Paris; while in Lille, Rroma express their opinion on the insertion villages; and in Roubaix, also in the North, the value of a house decrease if you have Rroma neighbours…
Local residents in a suburb of Grenoble, France, took justice in their own hands and expulsed a Rroma family which was squatting an abandoned house. Police condoned the act and escorted the Rroma away.
DANGEROUS … Justice should be left to the courts and police, not to the crowds.
Several politicians are asking for a national conference to mobilise means and people for Rroma as they have been now for refugees. And the Communist Party (by the way, the one that closed the camp in la Courneuve) is asking for a regional conference to better distribute Rroma in the various towns around Paris.
France was put at the same level as Bulgaria by a UN report slamming those two countries for forced evictions of Rroma.
SHAME!!!
France has been slammed by the UN for the systematic eviction of Rroma camps. The UN stresses that a more inclusive and integrative policy might be a better alternative.
17 Rroma are on trial in Paris for having pick-pocketed tourists in the capital. Some of them are accused to have transferred back as much as 700’000 EUR. A lot of money.
Again, is it relevant that they are Rroma? If guilty, they are criminals. Ethnicity has nothing to do with this. At most, the fact that they had very little other opportunities in their home countries.
The French Front National got caught in a fake Twitter account story used to spread racists tweets, among them (see the bottom of the article) against Rroma.

In an interview, a representative of the UNHCR slammed France for having chosen the worst possible solution in closing the camp in la Courneuve.

In spite of all fears following the blockade of the highway, the funerals of the Rroma victims of the shooting in the North of France in Royes happened without any problems. Once again, the Hype of the press … Notice the picture !!!!
More of the same in France: A fire in a camp near Lyon, with wounded firemen; in Sucy, the mayor who had been accused of discrimination has been freed; in Tourcoing, Rroma are expulsed; in Lille, the expulsion order is being reviewed by a judge; in Choisy, Rroma were prevented creating a camps; in Nantes, Rroma children are enrolled in school, in spite of their upcoming eviction; and one of the young Rroma expulsed from La Courneuve is being casted in a reality show.
An appeal to the government to enrol Rroma children who live in camps. This is a fundamental right!
