Ludwig Heilmeyers, a respected surgeon, university professor, first rector of the university of Ulm, turned out to have a Nazi past. He was active in asking for the rehabilitation of the Nazi Doctor Wilhelm Beiglböck who conducted “medical experiments on Rroma and Sinti in Dachau.
Germany is still dealing with its past. Many other countries are not.

A conference by Peter Höllenreiner, Sinto, Holocaust survivor in Munich highlighted that discrimination against Rroma and Sinti in Germany continues.
