The Czech Romani singer Vera Bila died on Monday, March 11th. She was one of the best-known singer of the region and sang in numerous countries.
May she rest in peace! Te ovel o drom angla late phuterdo.

A recent survey about the sympathies of Poles towards others clearly shows that Roma and Moslems are at the bottom of their liking. Roma are seen favourably by 17% of the respondent to the survey.
In a country which has a tiny Roma minority …

Foreign students were assaulted in Ostrawa, 10 of them landed in hospital. More than 14 days after the attack, the Czech police hasn’t taken statements from the victims. If they deal with foreigners that way, what happens when it is Roma …
