Volodymyr Yakovenko, director of the Ukrainian Youth Agency for the Promotion of Roma Culture (ARCA), asked the social network for help for the Ukrainian people, who are currently facing a humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the Russian military invasion. “I call on the entire world community to appeal to its leaders to call on Russia and Belarus to withdraw their troops from Ukraine. Stop this war! We do not want this war, we want to stay alive!”

Recently, two extensive anthologies have been published: the first (Velvet blues) looks back on the 1990s, the second (Beauty is Everywhere) on the 20th century. One of the key figures in today’s Kher is the Romani filmmaker Karolína Ryvolová (1977).
