The concept of “race” is making a dangerous come-back in Sweden. This is SCARY.

According to a report from Romeurope, a collective engaged in defending Rroma, France is systematically discriminating and segregating Rroma. They denounce the practices of the expulsions and the overall policy of the French government.
Well Done!!!
The story of the dog is still doing the rounds. The police is now investigating (at last), and the press still reports on it. What is missed by all, are that the statements of the person who snatched the dog are deliberately generalising and racist … Not all Rroma drug their dogs or eat their cats. As least I don’t.
SHAME!!!
The Bulgarian church stated explicitely that Moslems were not welcome in Bulgaria. This allegedly to prevent an “invasion”. Well, Turks and Rroma from Bulgaria are also Moslems, and make around 13% of the population. Are they too unqwelcome? Let’s not forget that in the 80’s, Bulgaria expelled roughly 400’000 Turkish Moslems to Turkey (they went to settle in Cyprus – well done Bugaria). That is almost 5% of the Bulgarian population of that time.
Is this Christian?
The story of the shirt on sale about killing Rroma continues. The German Central Committee of Roma and Sinti lodged a formal complaint with the police against the internet provider which displayed and sell shirts saying “we kill Gypsies”.
GOOD…
Romania is circulating a story about Rroma heping refugees by “confusing” the police in dressing them as Rroma. This is NOT JOURNALISM… Pure detox.
Eric Zemmour, a French polemist who deliberately insulted minorities among which Rroma, was cleared by a French court. The reasoning beyond this was as usual that there was a part of reality.
SHAME!!!!
NOT ACCEPTABLE! Please say so to the vendor.
The web shop pulled the plug this afternoon. But they let it slip. Let’s watch.

The UN is insisting that Slovak politicians should not tolerate police violence against Rroma. In Slovakia, it happens on a regular basis, and this, with total impunity.
The French Front National got caught in a fake Twitter account story used to spread racists tweets, among them (see the bottom of the article) against Rroma.
SHAME!
Manes Bernardini from Bologna, again went overboard: He qualified the city of Bologna as a “Zingaropoli” – a “Gypsy Metrople”. He was slammed by the anti-discrimination council anf given a yellow card.
This is not the fist time that Bernardini uses populist anti-Rroma rhetoric. This has to STOP!
During the second Rroma cultural festival in Dortmund, young Rroma took part in a round table aimed at reducing stereotypes. They spoke about their lives, and clearly, these do not conform to the stereotypes. This can be felt in the article, as the journalist has trouble accepting that this is the norm and not the exception.
The exceptions are the ones the press speak about all the time!
The Slovak PM, Robert Fico literally said Slovakia cannot integrate refugees because they can’t integrate their own Rroma.
UNACCEPTABLE!
The anti foreigner attitude is common in the whole of Germany according to a recent research. This attitude extends to Rroma and Sinti who are, after all often enough Germans too!
SCARY
More of the same in France: A fire in a camp near Lyon, with wounded firemen; in Sucy, the mayor who had been accused of discrimination has been freed; in Tourcoing, Rroma are expulsed; in Lille, the expulsion order is being reviewed by a judge; in Choisy, Rroma were prevented creating a camps; in Nantes, Rroma children are enrolled in school, in spite of their upcoming eviction; and one of the young Rroma expulsed from La Courneuve is being casted in a reality show.
Scary thoughts about the direction Europe is taking on migrants and refugees. Will we see concentration camps again in the near future?
Amnesty International launched a petition to the Czech government protesting the enrollment of Rroma children in schools for children with disabilities. This practice is still continuing in spite of multiple protests.
THIS HAS TO STOP!
Police was attacked when they went into a camp near Kosiče, in Slovakia where they were called by paramedics following a fight within the camp. This is not the first time, and follows a pattern. The Slovak police is known for its heavy handed practices as well as for its bias against Rroma.
Barbara Stamm on refugees, migrants, and on the violence against them.
A MUST READ.
We reported about a planned wall in Wattrelos a while back. This wall that will separate the Belgian houses and garden from the French side where a transit camp for travellers is located. The Wall is going to be built in spite of several hefty protests.
SHAME.
