The story of children of refugees in Sweden who fall in total lethargy when their asylum demand is rejected. This so-called resignation syndrome has touched more than 400 children, with some of them remaining in this state for more than 2 years.
It affects many Roma.

Roma in Sweden have founded a new political party called the Swedish Romani Modern Party (SRMP). They aim at participating to municipal elections and introduce Roma in the organs of municipalities.

Roma who were illegally registered in a database by the Swedish police will receive a compensation of 35’000 SEK (roughly 3’500 EUR) paid by the police. This sum will be paid to 4’700 people.
